WALKER - 1880s - Boggs Township
Posted by: Bob Date: October 05, 2001 at 12:04:09

I am trying to make a connection to firmly establish the origins of my grandmother.

Mary Ann Walker Ford appears in the 1900 New York census married to James F. Ford. She was born in Pennsylvania,
as were her mother and father.

In 1880, Mary Ann Walker would have been approximately 12 years old. According to the 1880 census index, there are 3
likely candidates who might be Mary, Mary Ann or Mary A.

The following individual appears in the 1880 census:
Mary A. WALKER Dau F S W 12
She is the daughter of Andrew G. (age 48) and Catherine (age 51) Walker.

Does anyone know of this family and the possibility that Mary A. was married to James F. Ford in New York approx.
