Thanks for the info.........I know there had to be some family already in Palmerton, but finding out who is the problem. I have contacted Sacred Heart Church office with no response. They say they will get back to us, but they never do. Joseph Mikus arrived in NY in 1911, and was going to Conn. to be with his step-brother. I know he was already living in Bayonne, NJ in 1917 when he registered for the draft, and also in the 1920 Census. And Susan Adamcik came over in 1914 and was living in NY during the 1920 Census. So I have a 6-8 year period for each of them where I don't know their whereabouts. I will contact the Register of Wills to see what information they can provide, and perhaps I will have to make a trip to the cemetery myself to check that out.
