The Summit Hill Historical Society has taken over maintaining the cemetary and from what I understand they are trying to get a handle on the burials but it will take quite some time to accomplish anything. I recently buried my mother and was talking to Tom Parambo from Parambo Funeral Home in Summit Hill who is on the Historical Society committee that is working on the Grand Army restoration. He mentioned a name of someone that might help locate graves if you have the names you are looking for but I can't remember who he mentioned. I'm sure if you contacted him he could steer you in the right direction. They have a letter at the cemetary explaining what they would like to do and requesting donations to help. He says they have been successful in getting donations but I'm sure it will have to be an ongoing process. I myself hope to walk the cemetary in May to look for relatives from my mother's family that I just discovered are buried there. Notify Administrator about this message?
