All,

I'm curious if there is any update to the attempt to gather the GAR cemetery records? In particular, do you think the historical society will post them online or is there an individual to whom we can e-mail look-ups? I visited the GAR a few years ago. The gentleman in charge of the cemetery was older and having health issues. He said all the records were on 3x5 cards in his garage in no order and he was too unwell to go look through them to allow me to do so. I really glad to hear someone is taking on this project but they should also try and get a copy of his cards. At that time I had no choice but to walk row by row until we found my great great grandparents gravesite.

Neil
