World War I Draft Registration 1917-1918:
Asa Prosper Wetzel was a brakeman for the C.R.R. of NJ in Bethlehem, Lehigh County, PA. Birth date: August 25, 1884 and was married to Mary. He had blue eyes, brown hair and was of medium height and weight. Document dated September 12th, 1918.

The following was taken from a family tree on
Mary Kleintop Wetzel was born in 1885 in Weatherly, Carbon County, Pa. Their children were: Asa Howard, Paul, Donald and Joyce F.

Asa Howard Wetzel was born in Bethlehem, Pa. December 21, 1905 and died January 26, 1971 in Port Orange, Volusia County, FL (according to the SSDI).

1st marriage: Edna Marguerite Steiger on April 12, 1925 in Bethlehem, PA. Children: Doris Irene, Eloaune (Female), Elenor Mary and Lorraine Edna.

2nd marriage: Dorthy R. Deire in 1968 in Port Orange, FL

This Wetzel family line goes back to Conrad Wetzel, born 1697 in Germany, died in 1753 in Lehigh County, PA - married to Anna Cathren Bayer, born 1709 in Germany, died in 1767 in Lehigh, PA. They were married in April, 1729 in Northampton County, PA.
