My query is two-fold:
1.) I have a copy of an 1888 deed where a possible ancestor of mine bought "Lot #7" on Yeakel Street in Weatherly from Dr. J.B. Tweedle. The only map of Weatherly I have is 1875 and there is no "Yeakel Street". Anybody know where Yeakel Street would have been in 1875?
2.)The buyer of "Lot #7" was William CHAMBERLAIN. Three years later (1891) he & his wife, Maria turned around and sold the lot to Charles & Harry Chamberlain. In 1894, Charles sold his interest to Harry. My great grandfather was William CHAMBERLAIN and he was born in Weatherly in 1861 but I have no way of knowing if the William listed was him. I can find virtually no information on my ggrandfather, William CHAMBERLAIN, until 1892 when he moved to Derry. IS THERE A 1890 CENSUS OF WEATHERLY THAT I COULD FIND IF THIS WILLIAM CHAMBERLAIN IS, INDEED, MY GGRANDFATHER? Much thanks in advance.
