Thanks so very much. It is wonderful of you to provide me with this history. It is very interesting. I'm confused, however, about your last sentence: "William T. Jones leaves widow, etc." The hour is late and I may not be thinking very clearly. Is the church record stating that William T. Jones died before his wife died, or is it stating that William T. Jones 'leaves this world as a widower.' I'm stunned, because there didn't seem to be a M.E. Church record that would indicate that his wife was alive when he was alive, so I naturally assumed that William had been a widower. I greatly appreciate the time you have taken to answer this, as well as the information you have generously provided.
