Karen,
You are so sweet to look into this for me. I really appreciate it. I had found George Hudson thinking it was him but when I followed up on it George was the son of Henry and George is listed in the 1900 census there. So that is not my George. I had checked the cemetery records but didn't have any luck. I might check into that obit you found for Mary in Jan of 1889. All I know is that she died between 1880 and 1900 and I assumed she died in the flood with the children but she could have died earlier. I am reading some books I borrowed from the local library on the flood and even though there is a list of dead, this is by far not a complete list. It would however had been a lot easier for me if they had been on there. :-) Thanks again for your efforts...I really do appreciate it. Vicky
