Simon Fletcher (1742-1824) *Rev War Veteran*

I am currently looking for information on a Simon Fletcher who (according to my g-grandfather's Sons of the American Revolution application) was Quartermaster Sergeant for the 8th Pennsylvania Continental Line in the Revolutionary War. According to one pension document, Simon was born in 1750, and lived at some point in Fayette, Pennsylvania. According to the 1820 census, he might have lived in Muddy Creek (until his death in 1824)

I don't know anything else about Simon except that he apparently had a daughter named Roda (Rhoda?) who may have married a William Campbell from Westmoreland, Co. Pennsylvania. If you have any of these people in your line (or know of same) and would be willing to share information, I will be happy to share what I have on Simon Fletcher and William Campbell's Revolutionary War records.

Thank you

Chris Leddon
Decendent - Bales M Campbell (1854-1937)
