I looked around a little and found that Dan and his wife were important enough to have their photos in one of the Butler history books. Dan was a Lutheran. A little more looking and my best guess that he belonged to the St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Butler County, PA. I see that they had their own burial ground early. Why not call the church secretary and ask if she can do a lookup? That has worked well for me in the past.
