I took a look online today and found again what I referred to as being online, only it is called the Butler County Estate Index 1800-1900+ , not a Will Index. The book I have is called Will Index. Perhaps you are already familiar with this. It states that some estates in the index do not have wills but some property evaluations. The other name you mentioned earlier in your post, Jesse Clendennen, is listed with a reference number C193.
