Hi Sandy, Thanks for the new infoemation on Goldie mothers family, Goldie died in Clermont Florida at age 99 in 2000. Rex, her husband died many years earlier from dementia. We have posted a memorial in Find-A-Grave.

Your info fits. Apparently Silas returned to Butler County and was hired has a mailman. His obit stated --"A long time mailman" We see several errors in Obit, the one you found and where it says Claud was still at home.

Goldie and Rex apparently had moved to Florida just after the War. I believe you are correct with Wilson Kennedy as her father. We also believe, Silas might have stayed with the Wilson family as a child 1865-1878 plus or minus, the lost years, so to speak. The 1895 death of Claudes mother, Kate in Wheeling also suggest they were in Wheeling area. It appears the whole Inbody/Imbody clan, except Sarah Alice moved about 1890.

We have been very successful in locating all of Claude descendants and have made contact with those surviving. Goldie and Rex had no children.

Hope you have a successful search on the Kennedy's.
Thanks again.
