Good trail searching! I have the link here to the history of butler county.... you may have better luck than I did finding Levi.... it does have some war info, too. When you start combing the census, use EVERY variation you can think of.... the early enumerators were "phonetic" writers, it seems....... with and w/o Levi, Thomp....Tomp...Tompt.Tom.. I'm sure you've run across that before, but they may take the cake good luck.
