Hi Sheri,

Maybe I can help a little. Whitestown is in the northwestern part of the present-day Connoquenessing Township. BUT, in 1850, it was probably in East Connoquenessing Twp. The last change of the township boundaries was in 1854.

I have an 1858 map of the property owners; but, there is no Isabella Shanor listed. (However, my gr grandfather bought property in Washington Twp. in 1854 and he is not listed either.) I did find listed, in the Whitestown area, an M. F. White...this could be Matthew White. I also did not find a George Buchle listed. I did however find close by a G. Beighly. This is a stretch; but, it COULD be Buchle.
Hope this helps.

Oh, if you decide to go bungee jumping, let me know....I just may join just might just be a little less stressful than genealogy research!
