I am looking for information on John P McJunkin b. in Butler County Pa date unknown. His parents are James T. McJunkin (1820-1885) and Martha Rose (1824-1896). He apparently died 6 Feb 1866. He was in the Civil War as a cousin of mine sent me copies of letters he wrote to his aunt and uncle (Susan McJunkin 1829-1910 and James S Rose 1830-1987). The letters were written in the summer and fall of 1864 from the Camp of the 4th PA Calvary near Petersburg. One letter mentions he was in 3 fights with a week, one north of the James River and 2 near the Weldon railroad. I believe his middle name was Presley as he signs the letters Press McJunkin. I would love to know his date of birth and how he died.

Thank you advance!
