i browsed quickly through that book while i was in bucks county historical society and could not find a connection when i went through wills and landgrants at the court house in doylestown. i did find jesse taylor in 1869-70 living with his wife kate who was a hat maker and jesse was a harness maker. this was at the historical society in new town. i cannot find jesse's father Henry(not the (henry B ) in the census. i found jesse age 14 in 1840 living with a johnson family so i assume his father died or deserted the you have access to the microfilm for the news paper. id like to find more about jj kents kates father or grandfather.about 1867 to 1870.
