Nicholas Bean (1760-1838)

Nicholas Bean (of German descent) was my 4th great-grandfather. He was, according to his Revolutionary War Pension application, born in Bucks County on March 16, 1760. He was in the Pennnsylvania Line during the Revolution and was at the Battle of Yorktown. He moved to Stokes County, North Carolina where he maried Anne Wilbourne (who may have been a Cherokee Indian). In 1831 he moved to Clark County, Illinois where he lived until his death August 21, 1838. He is buried near Cleone, Clark County, Illinois.

Any info regarding his parents or his life in Bucks County would be appreciated.

Johnny Curry
