I have one William Henry West b.2.9.1824 and died 3.17.1911 who left a writing that referred to his grandfather as one Jonathan West who may have died in Knoxville, Ohio. His father in turn was supposedly Enos d. in Bucks Co. and his grandfather one William West born in England. William Henry West was Attorney General of Ohio in the 1860's or so; he and his brother were Lincoln men in the Ohio delegation who moved that state from Chase on the third ballot in Chicago in 1860 at the Republican convention to secure the nomination for Abraham.
