William Barber, late 18th century

Looking for information about William Barber who served from Bristol in the Bucks Co. militia during the Rev. War and appeared on tax lists for Falls in 1782, 1783, 1786. I'm trying to prove or disprove a relationship to the James Barber who m. Rebecca Thackray.
