Conrad Hartman descendants

Seeking U.S. descendants of Conrad Hartman, who died 9 Nov 1893 at New Hope, Bucks County, Pennyslvania. He was born Konrad Friedrich Hartmann on 23 Nov 1829 at Knittlingen, Oberamt Maulbronn, Württemberg. He was the seventh child of Johann Jakob Hartmann (1 Jul 1791 - 20 May 1842) and Ernestina Katharina Eberle (6 Apr 1788 - 6 May 1835) and brother to my great grandfather, Johann Andreas (Andrew) Hartmann (1 Jun 1821 - 18 Jul 1888), who ended up in Houston County, Minnesota. Conrad Hartman is buried in Solebury Friends Burying Ground, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

According to the Haupstaatsarchiv Stuttgart web site, a Konrad Hartmann from Knittlingen emigrated in 1852. He may be the Conrad Hartmann listed in "Germans to America", Vol. 4, p. 38, who arrived in New York from Havre on the ship "Harriet" on 27 Sep 1852.

In the 1860 U.S. census of the township of Hamilton, Mercer County, New Jersey, Post Office Trenton, he appears as Conrad Hartman, age 30, with wife Barbara, age 39, born Württemberg
daughter Emma, age 7, born New York
son George, age 6, born New York
son John, age 5, born New Jersey
son Frederick, age 2, born New Jersey

In the 1870 U.S. census of the Borough of New Hope, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, he is listed as "Restaurant Keeper", with the same family.

His obituary, which appeared in "The New Hope News" on 11 November 1893, lists as survivors his wife (no name) and children John, employed by the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Co., and living in New Hope; Mrs. Emma Treftz, engaged in the grocery business in the western part of New Hope; and Frederick, employed by Schatz and Co. of Doylestown. Apparently, son George died before 11 November 1893.

In summary, I am seeking information about:

Emma Hartman Treftz, born about 1853 in New York, living in New Hope in 1893;
George Hartman, born about 1854 in New York, died before November 11, 1893;
John Hartman, born about 1855 in New Jersey (possibly on 16 November 1855, according to an IGI entry), and living in New Hope in 1893;
Frederick Hartman, born about 1858 in New Jersey, living in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1893.

Any information about these individuals and their descendants would be appreciated.

Lyle G. Hartman
Landenberg, Pennsylvania
