Hi,
Be sure to stop in Trenton and check out the cushy new New Jersey State Archives on West State Street. There is state parking garage a short walk away and the place is swarming with State Police. Very safe. The Archives is at 225 W. State Street and the garage is just past the State Library, about half a block away. The Archives are open at 8:30 in the morning Tuesday through Friday. A visit to level 4 of the State Library is mandatory for anybody that takes their research seriously.

Respectfully,
Jeff
