Last week my family took me to visit the Marshall, Cooper, Ridge, Wood Burial Ground in Tinicum. It is extremely overgrown including thorn bushes which made it very difficult to walk or to see the headstones. I live in Indiana and am old enough that it is not possible for me to return to clean up the grounds so that others may visit. There are graves of Revolutionary War veterans, veterans of other wars, Edward Marshall who made the Indian Walk, and his daughter Catherine Marshall Ridge who was wounded in the Indian Attack on the family of Edward Marshall, she survived although she lost a breast when this happened. There is also Dr.A.M.Cooper and others. This is a family of historic importance. Does anyone know of a group who cleans up these old cemeteries? PLEASE HELP. Linda
