Five years after your post I'm hoping you are still monitoring this address. I am hoping you have additional info you could share on this ADAMS line which I am just now researching. My line appears to go down from Johannes "John" Adams d. 1807 > John George Adams 1755-1832 (your dates) > Jacob Adams d. 1883 who married Maria Christiana RUTH > Mary Anna Adams 1818-1886 who married Jonas Laubenstine, my gg-grandparents.

Just last month while visiting the graves of my TRAUGER ancestors, I actually took a photo of the same stone of John Adams that you mention which was nearby, having no idea at the time that he was my ancestor.
