I am interested in the Joshua Davis that you have mentioned, as that is the name of my mother's oldest known ancestor. My mother's ancestor was born about 1748, in PA. I am not sure who he married, but he had a son also named Joshua, born in 1772 in PA. This second Joshua married Rachel Wilson, b. in PA. They moved to Pike Co. Ohio. They in turn had a son named Joshua, b. 1811, who married Elizabeth Holton from Ohio.

Could this be the same Joshua that you mentioned?
