I am interested in the Hart family. I have an ancestor in Mecklenburg County, Virginia around 1800 who was James Hart Newton. I wonder where the name Hart acme from He named his son Henry Hart newton. James's grandmother was Sarah Newton the wife of Henry newton and I wonder if she was a Hart. Some Harts were in nearby Granville County, N.C. and still are.
