Fretz-Bear/Bohr Connection Bucks Co PA

Does any Fretz researcher have information on a Fretz-Bear/Bohr/Behr connection? I have reason to believe that my Bear family of Cumberland County PA had Fretz-Kephart relatives in Bucks County. I found a Joseph Behr/Bohr, age 15, farm laborer, with the Christian and Elizabeth Fretz family in New Brittain Township, Bucks County in the 1850 census. My Joseph Bear served in the Civil War and listed Hilltown, Hilltown Township as his residence when he enlisted as a Union soldier in the 202nd PA Volunteer Regiment.

I am having difficulty locating the parents of my gggrandfather, Joseph Bear b. 1834 and suspect he is a member of one of the Bear/Bare/Baer families who settled West Pennsboro Township circa 1830 having migrated west from Bucks County.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
