She lived there until shortly after her father died so that would have been in 1918 during the flu epidemic. The Hall family owned the inn from about 1864 or a bit earlier. Elias Toy Hall her uncle sold it around 1939. I have packs of letters from 1905 which mention several of the neighbors, I just haven't had time to scribe them all. Old fashioned handwriting is hard to cipher. I know her mom Florence Nora Morris Hall Jenks worked the swithboard in Eddington when she was younger. Her stepfather was a Juliff.
