Jacob NEGLEY/NAGLII/NAGLE/NEGLY and his wife, Margaret ?? left the German states in the 1730s with three children, Alexander, Caspar/Gaspar, and Elizabeth, to come to the United States. Jacob is supposed to have died on ship board. When the family arrived in the U.S. in about 1738, they settled in the Bucks Co. area and Margret remarried to a Felix LEH/LEY/LEIG/LEE, a blacksmith and had five additional children.

Their second son, Caspar/Gaspar, married Elizabeth ?? and had 5 or 6 children but I know nothing more about the family. Did they use the name of NAGLE or did they use the NEGLEY name adopted by Alexander, Caspar's brother. Any information would be appreciated.
