Need help with marriage and death records
Posted by: Barbara Allen (ID *****0448) Date: August 22, 2004 at 19:05:43

Would there be marriage records available for 1850-1855 in Bucks county?

I am looking for information on a Philip and Catherine McIntyre who are found in Bucks county in the 1860 census. Their oldest child is James who is 6. By inference, they would have married probably 1852-1853.

Also Philip appears to have died between 1860 and 1870, when Catherine is found in Bucks County with just her children. When did Pennsylvania start recording deaths?

Thanks for any information. Barbara Allen
