Hello,
My Great Great Great Grandfather was Henry Bascom Appleton. He was born in PA in 1803. His wife was Sarah Clark Appleton born in 1806. I found the family on an 1850
census of Martic Twp,Lancaster Co.Pa. I looked at cemeteries
of this area and found no Appletons early than 1810 buried
there. I suspect Henry Bascom and Sarah Clark-Appleton came
from an early settlement such as Bucks County. I found a
Samuel Appleton,Richard, and Daniel in Upper and Lower Makefield Twp,and Bristol. They moved to Pittsburgh,Pa,
Allegheny County in 1860 (Temperanceville),west end.

Could you possibly tell me the history of your Appletons
of Bucks Co?
Thanks,
Judy
