From the "Bucks County Gazette", July 1899:
David H. Stackhouse, a former well-known and highly-esteemed resident of Bristol, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maria Plum[b], Tacony, last Monday morning [17 Jul 1899], at the advanced age of 82 years. Mr. Stackhouse had been a resident of Bristol for over fifty years. He was a prominent member of the Baptist Church, having been received in the church by the Rev. Mr. Page, its first pastor, and was for many years its pastor. The funeral services are held today at two o'clock in the Baptist Church, the interment being in the Friends' Graveyard.
