Looking for Jesse Roe married to Margretha McDowell, both of Buckingham, by Rev. Uriah Du Bois, on December 18, 1813 according to the Bucks County Newspaper December 27, 1813.

I have a Jesse and a "Margaret" Roe living with a Benjamin Roe in the 1850 PA Census, Bucks County, Solebury Township. Wife of Benjamin is Sarah and the children listed are Andrew J. Roe age 6, and a Barbara A. Roe age 2.
Jesse Roe age 66, born in NY, and a Margaret Roe age 61 born in PA.

In the 1860 Census,Benjamin Roe age 40, Sarah Roe age 35 "AJ" Roe age (18?), Hannah Roe age 8, Marietta Roe age 5, and George Roe age 2. Barbara Ann Roe age 11 is listed as living with the John W. Everett Family. His wife is Louisa M. Children listed CS age 2, Ann R age 1, and Laura L age 2/12. Also listed is a Wm. Phillips 12, Lewis Scank 21 (B) and Sarah I Ely age 16.

Does any of this sound familiar with anyone? I am searching my Roe roots and believe that Jesse Roe may be my great-great-great-grandfather. Am trying to find his father and mother.

I do know that Benjamin and Sarah moved to New Jersey, my great-grandfather Theodore S. Roe was born there. Then they moved to Illinois where they are listed in the 1880 Census. Benjamin F. Roe, born in PA age 61, Sarah age 52, George W. Roe age 21, Alexander L. Roe age 18, John F. Roe age 15, and Theodore S. Roe age 12. Theodore was born May 1, 1867 in Trenton, NJ.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
