Dungworth(Dunsworth)-Susanna Melvin

We are researching the family of Assemblyman James Melvin, Sr., from Lower Milford Twp. and now specifically his daughter Susanna Melvin. She married Richard Dungworth in Nov 1755. Her father wrote his will in 1777 and it was witnessed by Charles Dungworth, whom we think is his son. It is possible that the spelling changed to Dunsworth.

The Dunsworth families are trying to link up to this line and we are assisting in their research. Has anybody seen documentation in the lines descending from Susanna Melvin Dungworth, as they seem to reappear in Washington Co., TN and from there on to McDonough Co., IL where there are other Melvin families.
