Hello Fellow Researchers!

I'm looking for information about Samuel Erwin, Esq. b. 1722 in possibly Philadelphia or Philadelphia County. I also know there were a bunch of Erwin's in Chester County at this time. Maybe he came form that family.

Married 1st Mary, had at least one child, Margaret.

Margaret Erwin m. John VanDyke in 1754 (Abington Presb. Church). They lived in Warrington Twp. Bucks County.

Samuel married 2nd Rebecca Leech 15 Nov 1770 (Abington Presb. Church). They lived in the Manor of Moreland, Philadelphia County
(later became Montgomery County).

Samuel died 26 Jul 1798.

I'm looking to find out any other children by Samuel or a possible connection ot Hugh Erwin of Southampton (who was in the Associated company of Southampton in 1775).

Thanks for any help.
Marybeth Erwin Hegel
