I am trying to establish a connection between the Bradford Co., PA Hutchinson/Hutchison's and the The Orleans/Ontario Co., NY Hutchinson/Hutchisons. My husband's family connects to the Hutchison/Hutchinsons who were in the Rev. War from Pa, brothers John and Wm. Wm was b. 1758 & d. 1832 Phelps, Ont.Co., NY. His brother John b. 1752 & d. 1825. No further info on him. Wm m. Mary Clark in Lancaster, PA & was in NY in the early 1800s. They had Margaret, James, Thomas J, Mary and Jemima. Their son James m. Susan Sherwood and had Charlotte, Mary J, Jane, Wm, Caroline, Andrew, Electra & Eliza. The reason that I feel that my family connects to the Bradford Co., PA Hutchisons is this-in my husband's aunts belongings was a photo of a William J Hutchinson taken by photographer Satham in Bradford Co., PA, I am guessing the picture was taken between 1880 & 1890. It shows Mr. Hutchinson as an older, mostly bald man in a nice suit, bowler hat in hand, & dangleing watch fob. I am guessing that the Orleans and the Bradford Co., Hutchinsons were closely related or why would we have the picture? Also the childrens names were very similar. Any help appreciated.
