These are probably interrelated to my line from Waldon Reynolds b. 1788 Rutland, VT and d. 1857 in Union Twp., Tioga Co, PA married to Nancy Barnes. He had sons named Joshua, John , Ithiel B. and several daughters.

Ithiel is enumerated in the Union Twp., Tioga Co., 1850 PA Census as follows:

Ithial Reynolds, #54, age 34, b. in VT
Ochrano Reynolds, age 4, b. in PA
Cyrus Reynolds, age 6, b. in PA
Timothy S. Griswold, age 23, b. in PA
Nancy Griswold, age 24, b. in VT
Harriet Griswold, age 3, b. in PA

Previous entry:
Waldon Reynolds, age 63, b. in VT
Nancy Reynolds, age 63, b. in Conn.
Sarah Reynolds, age 38, b. in VT
Joshua Reynolds, age 31, b. in VT, farmer
John Reynolds, age 19, c. in VT

In the Union Twp. article from The History of Tioga County it refers to Ithiel as Reverend Ithiel Reynolds. It relates that as of 1883 he has been a consistent member of the Baptist church for forty years and at intervals for the past thirty years has served as minister at the "Swamp Baptist Church" in Union Township. It relates that he was educated in the Burr Seminary, Manchester, Vermont and Oneida Institute in Oneida, New York. He also taught several terms of school in Vermont. It is interesting to note that in light of this one of his son's names is Spurgeon, probably after the great preacher, Charles Spurgeon.
