Camptown Cemetery
SUTTON - Dies at Lime Hill - Mrs. Phoebe A. Roberts passed away at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. William E. Lewis of Lime Hill on July 23rd, 1931, at the age of 99 years, 6 months and 27 days. Mrs. Roberts was born in Falls township, Wyoming County, PA. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Lewis on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 with Rev. H.M. Savacool of Camptown officiating. Burial was made in the Camptown cemetery, The pallbearers were: Victor Camp, Ralph Taylor, George Moore, Wilbur Sutton, Wesley Sutton and Elmer Lewis. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mrs. Pearl London and Virgil W. Sutton, Kingston; Mr. & Mrs. James Medley of Nanticoke; Earl Medley, Chester, PA; Wilbur Sutton, Mr. & Mrs. Wesley Sutton and Richard Nickelson of Pittston; Mr. & Mrs. Gerald Huff and Mrs. Maud Huff of Brooklyn, Pa.; Mrs. A.W. Camp and son, Victor of sayre; Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Taylor and daughter, Leona of Herrick; Mr. & Mrs. Elmer White of Johnson City, NY; Mr. & Mrs. George Moore of Meshoppen; Mr. & Mrs. F.D. Lewis, Mr. & Mrs. C.E. Lewis, Donald Lewis and sister Ruby of New Albany; Mr. & Mrs. A.B. Stark of Dalas, and Mr. & Mrs. E.W. Lewis of Liberty Corners. - Wyalusing Rocket, July 29, 1931
