I have a Joseph and Theresa Yenny Cook who lived in that area. The came from Hesse Darmstadt, Germany. Theresa was killed in 1856 or 1857 in a Mine accedant. She is buried at the Barclay Cemetery, Bradford CO., PA. She and her husband Joseph Cook had five children. Joseph Cook 1808-1874 worked with his brothers in the Coal Mines but then all moved west to Waverly, Wright County, Minnesota. I hope this helps.
We are going to a Cook family reunion this weekend Anoka MN and will ask the older family about the Cook brothers from Braford County, PA.
Fraternally.
Alex.
