I have a Deluxe membership with Ancestry.com; however, the search engine is not working on census records tonight. In fact, it was not working this weekend. Sorry.

The LDS census record shows Hattie was born in NY as were her parents if the census taker didn't make a mistake.

It could be the person who completed the death certificate (if that is what you are looking at)didn't know the place of birth.

Hattie was born in NY and her parents were born in NY.
