I am looking for information on the Kirwan or Hafner families from the Bradford County PA area. John and Julia Blake Kirwan came from County Tipperary, Ireland in @ 1847. The two had children Ellen born in IR in 1846. They also had James (1849 PA), William, Kate, and Mary. Julia died and John married Bridget Butler with whom he had six children: John, Daniel, Joseph, Thomas, Bridget, and Agatha. Ellen married my great grandfather Charles William Hafner. James and William Kirwan had a livery business in Towanda. James Kirwan married Margaret Carron of Seneca, NY. William Kirwan married Margaret Clancy.
