Jackson Lewis m. Harriet E. Paine

According to various Lewis family web postings, Jackson Lewis married three times. The third time to Harriet E. Paine.

Many people have posted info on this marriage but no one has indicated who she was, I believe that I know.

Harriet Elizabeth Mansfield was born in Jefferson, Wisconsin, the daughter of Joseph and his wife ? (who apparently died before the 1860 census). . In 1857, she married, in Jefferson, George Porter Paine born 1832 in Guildhall, VT. He was the son of George Paine and the grandson of Elijah Paine of Williamstown, VT (1757-1842) of whom much has been written.

Harriet was George's second wife. The first being Sophia Green by whom he had two children, Caroline who died in infancy and Katharine born 1854.

Harriet and George moved from Wisconsin to Iowa and then Kansas. They had at least two children, Charles and George born 1858 and 1860 respectively.

My great-grandfather's (George Porter Paine's brother) memoirs explain the following:
George died in 1861 having been struck by lightning while out on his horse. Harriet, now the widow Harriet E. Paine, married a neighbor, Jackson Lewis, who moved them to his farm in Merryall, PA.

I am trying to find out what happened to the children of George's second marriage. She took Charles and George with her when she married Jackson and moved to PA

Any help would be appreciated.
Does anything here sound familiar?

I have more detail to exchange.

Hope this rings a bell with someone.

Carl
