Bratton in Bradford 1844-1850

Anna Bratton, age 26, and John Bratton, age 5, are listed in the 1850 census in Towanda twp., Bradford Co. PA in the C. M. Belknap (clothier) household. I believe Anna's husband died in Bradford Co. PA, probably between 1844 and 1850. His name may have been Alexander Bratton/Brattin. Anna and her husband were from the Huntingdon Co. area; Anna is next found in 1860 in Blair Co. PA. Any help regarding her husband and his death place & date would be greatly appreciated.
