Enumerated on South Branch Road, Monroe Twp, was a Florence Larabee, age 56, widowed, servant to Elizabeth J English. I am trying to figure out if this could be my 2G grandmother, Adelade Larrabee (maiden name Miller or Harris), who was enumerated in 1900 in Albany Twp boarding with the Charles Kipp family, divorced, age 44. Her husband (or ex-) would have been William Larrabee, son of Asa, Jr.
Could be a coincidence, but the ages are close as are then townships. Also, Florence was recorded as being the mother of 5 children, 3 still living as of 1910. From my research, these would have been: George H b May 1874, m Anna Swackhammer Cashdollar, d abt 1935 (my GGfather); Phebe A b abt 1878, d unknown; Samuel b 8/3/1880, m Ina Campbell, d aft 1920; Elizabeth b abt 1884, m Peter Vanderpool, d aft 1920; and Francis E, b abt 1888, d 11/15/1893 in Monroe Twp.
I have been unable to find any record of Adalade going forward or Florence going forward or backward. If anyone can give me information on either of these women, it would be appreciated. Thanks.
