Bill, Prior to abt 1856 when Liberty Corners was named and a post office, there were two hills Ellis Hill to the North
and Hollon Hill named after the original settler. My Mingos
bgt land on both hillls in 1837 and 1840 from a land agent
in Montose. Liberty Corners is up the hill just East of the
Towanda airport.
