I am looking for the parents of John Bardsley born Sep. 1838 Royton, presumably in LANCASHIRE, ENGLAND, and his wife Elizabeth Oriban married abt. 1858 in England. Elizabeth was born July 1840 MANCHESTER, England. They were living at 2 George St. Newton Heath, Manchester, Lancashire, England in 1861, daughter Hannah was 2. In 1871 Hannah was not listed on the census, children were SAMUEL BARDSLEY born about 1862 Newton Heath, JOHN E. born April 1864, WILLIAM 1867, and HARRY 1869. They emigrated to Pennsylvania in 1875 and in 1900 lived at 316 11th St. ALTOONA, BLAIR CO., PA. Children born in PA. JAMES W. July 1879, LOUIS Sep. 1880, and EMMA in June 1885.

John E. Bardsley, the son of John and Elizabeth born April 1864 Manchester married 1. ANNA M. CONNELLY 1886 Blair Co., PA. John E's second wife was Margaret McMullen. John E. died in Providence Rhode Island in 1938. James W. Bardsley John E's brother born July 1879 PA. married RUTH M. PFEIFFER. If anyone is researching this family I have the children of John E. Bardsley and Anna Connelly and 2 of the children of his brother James W. and his wife Ruth. Thanks.
