Cindy I don't think there is a match with Martin Hoover. Still looking for a match with Abraham Ditch. Abraham was a brother to Henry Ditch who is my maternal GGGGGGrandfather. If you have any info on this person I would like to hear back from you. The area Bedford is a match to this family.

Thank You
John Hoover
I know nothing about a Catherine Knee married to a Abraham Ditch. But I think there was a Elizabeth Knee b. 7 Aug, 1814 married to a John Ditch b. 13 Mar, 1800. I would really like to know more about the Ditch family. Larry Knee
>>John Ditch born 13 March, 1800 Penn , died 21 October, 1860 Blair County, Penn, married ca 1831 ?? Woodbury, Bedford County, Penn to Elizabeth Knee born 7 Aug, 1814 Woodbury Twp, Bedford County, Penn, died 10 November, 1900 Huston Twp., Blair County, Penn. She is in 1900 census, Huston Twp., Blair County, Penn as Elizabeth Ditch. Her >>husband died in 1860 and it would seem that since she is shown as Elizabeth Ditch in 1900 that she did not remarry, I have alwasy wished to find her newspaper obit but have benn unable. I have that a son David Ditch born 12 Nov, 1838 Bedford Co., Penn, died 11 April, 1911 Washington twp., Stark County, Ohio, married ca 1858 Penn ( do you have this marriage date?) to Sarah Catharine Harner born Nov, 1841 Ohio. I'm always interested in Civil War information regarding Knee related men like David. Perhaps we can come up with some other info. of mutual interest? Thank you, Larry Knee
