On the 1850 census for Colerain Township, Bedford County, PA, census I have found the listing for Sophia Mower, age 50 and Mary E. Mower age 22. (In same household)
Does anyone have any information on her husband?
Some believe Sophia's maiden name was "Mower". Does this mean she was never married, or that she married a cousin (which so many did)?
