Searching for information on a Robert and Mary Paules Russell family who appeared in the 1850 census in Smith's Ferry, Beaver Co, PA with the following children: Leah b. 1834, Arthur b. 1836, Margaret b. 1839, Elizabeth b. 1841, Sarah A b. 1844, Rebecca b. 1847 and Henry b. 1849. Robert, born about 1800, was listed as a laborer in the census, Mary was born about 1808. All were listed as being born in PA.
The family later appeared in the 1860 census for Columbiana Co, OH in St Clair Twp, Fredericktown post office. Columbiana County, OH being in the border with Beaver County, PA. In 1860 they had the following children: Susanna b. 1830, Leah b. 1834, Arthur b. 1836, Margaret b. 1839, Elizabeth b. 1841, Sarah A b. 1844, Phoebe b. 1847, Winfield S b. 1853 and William b. 1855.
Widow Mary Russell and daughter Sarah appear in the 1870 census in St Clair Twp, Columbiana Co, OH, Wellsville post office; however I have not located the rest of the family either in Beaver Co, PA or Columbiana Co, OH.
Mary Paules Russell was born in York Co, PA prior to her marriage to Robert Russell.
