Marian, thank you for your reply.

I've come a long way with my Lawrence/Lorentz-Thomas research since posting that query. My Catharine Lawrence Thomas was most definitely the daughter of Philip Lorentz & Susannah Funkhauser.

I'm curious about the 1600 descendants of Catharine Lawrence Thomas you mentioned. I can't help but wonder if the source of those 1600 names is none other than me!?! Please let me know. I've sent quite a lot of information to others and I don't know of anyone else who has done extensive research on Catharine Lawrence Thomas' descendants besides me. But if someone else is out there, I'd like to share & exchange.

I have a copy of the Lawrence Chart done up by Samuel J. Lawrence (who died in 1874) and it has been very helpful. There are also several excellent Lawrence researchers who have taken the line back into Germany, etc.

Your Philip & Mary are the ones who went to Indiana, right?
