Thank you so much for checking on this. My great grandfather was Charles Lewis Thompson born in
1851 to William and Anne Thompson in Jefferson County, Ohio. So maybe you did find the right family.
I have a copyof obits for William S. Thompson, Joseph Miller Thompson and Joseph's youngest daughter
Etta May (b:1879 d:1897)

Family members said the family moved to Ohio from PA when William S. was a baby, but Joseph
was born in Westmorland County, PA in they must have moved when he was a baby and
William would have been 7 years old - sometime between 1849 and 1850. There were probably other
children born between Willam and Joseph (Maybe George and Alexander).

William S. Thompson's obit doesn't give a date, it states his birth date and said he was married 48
years agoto Anna L. Kelly at Two Ridges church in Jefferson County, Ohio (I figured he died between
1908 & 1914). He was a corporal in Co. H, O.N. G.(Ohio National Guard?) and was amoung militiamen
who met General Morganon his famous raid at Norton's HIll near Two Ridge church.

Joseph Thompson obit states he was 76 (b:1849) so that would mean he died in 1925. Joseph and his
family belonged to the Methodist Protestant church in Toronto.

I don't know if this info will help or not.
